Celebrate
Celebration is more than an emotional response; it’s a spiritual discipline. It’s the practice of choosing joy even when our surroundings don’t give us a reason to. Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4 NIV). This wasn’t written from a mountaintop, but from prison. Paul’s joy wasn’t based on circumstance; it was based on Christ.
God doesn’t ask us to celebrate only when we feel good or everything is going right. He invites us to celebrate because of who He is and what He’s done. Even when our lives feel like they’re in pieces, God’s faithfulness remains. And that is worth celebrating.
What if your celebration today wasn’t about what’s happening around you, but what’s happening within you? What if you chose to worship in the waiting, to sing in the struggle, to dance even in the dark?
You don’t have to wait for perfect conditions. Joy is available now. Rejoice in your salvation. Celebrate your identity as a child of God. Remember His goodness—and let that be your reason to smile today.
Reflection: What’s one way you can choose joy today, regardless of your circumstances?
Prayer: God, even when life feels heavy, I choose to rejoice in who You are. Thank You for the joy that comes from knowing You. Teach me to celebrate not just the victories, but Your presence in every season. Fill my heart with gratitude and praise. Amen.

Psalms 126
