With God
One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is also one of the simplest: God is with us.
From Genesis to Revelation, this is the heartbeat of the Bible. God walking with Adam and Eve. God in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. God walking on the earth as Jesus. And now, God dwells in us through His Spirit.
Psalm 23:4 NIV says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” The presence of God doesn’t always change the path, but it does change how we walk it.
When we feel alone, afraid, or overwhelmed, the enemy loves to whisper, 'God has left you.' But that’s a lie. God has never abandoned a single one of His children, and He’s not about to start with you.
Wherever you are, on the mountaintop or in the valley, He is with you. Let that bring comfort. Let that restore peace. You’re not walking alone.
Reflection: Where do you need to be reminded today that God is walking with you?
Prayer: God, thank You for never leaving me. Even when I feel alone, remind me that You are near. Let Your presence be my peace and Your nearness be my strength. I choose to walk this day knowing You are with me. Amen.
